I was thinking of making a list of things pop culture stole from the Bible.
Or deliberately constructed to "paint over" the Bible, having people
think of their imitation instead of the original Biblical meaning and
context.
They take a name, a phrase, an idea, and redirect it into pop culture
and conceal the Biblical source.
When people bring it up they're talking about the pop culture, almost
never the source.

It's a big topic.

I think this means one of the things we're waiting on is for their
iniquity to reach the level that's equally proportional to the
response to come.

i think the name of the band "the beatles" comes from "The Beatitudes"
in the Bible.

i feel like those religious cults like mormonism where there's one
martin with many strats is playing off this, or inverting what it
actually means.

us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach."

I guess you could say them dressing up their pagan tree decoration
tradition as "christmas" fits in this category.
